Irish private equity group Signature Capital has paid about €130m for a German shopping centre that had been controlled by Quinlan Private before the centre collapsed into insolvency.
Dublin-based private equity company Signature Capital is eyeing more retail assets in the UK and Germany after leading a consortium to buy Cologne’s Neumarkt Galerie shopping mall last month, says its managing director. Signature led a consortium last month that paid slightly less than €135m for Neumarkt.
Irish private equity firm Signature Capital has acquired one of Cologne’s major landmarks, the Neumarkt Galerie mixed-use complex, from administrator Markus Heider of Goerg for around EUR 130-135 mln, well-informed market sources told PropertyEU.
